Unusable. I originally purchased this on a Pixel 2, I believe, re-attempted the app on Pixel 4, then on Pixel 6 Pro. It's been garbage since the beginning. The preview image isn't promising of end results as the "positive" color is completely warped and so low resolution there's no way to tell if it's in focus. It also doesn't seem to be capturing images since it crashes 4 out of 5 attempts. The other 1 out of 5 doesn't seem to capture anything. The app freezes for a moment then unfreezes.

Not that great. I've tried color and black and white negatives and don't get good results. I'm using an Oneplus 6 with a close-up filter. If you want decent scans of your negatives at home, this app won't get you there. Pretty disappointed

I'm using this on an S10 and through multiple android updates, I have the same issue. This works great as a loupe for me since live preview works great! The app quickly turns to mud when trying to actually capture the negatives. It will not focus closer than 6 inches away and when I press the capture button I get severely reduced contrast capture. In B&W, it can be poorly saved with the contrast slider. For color negatives, not only does the contrast get flattened, it badly colors casts.
