Fire Alarm ITM Prep: NICET

Pass the NICET Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems exam. Then keep the book in your pocket.

Fire Alarm ITM is an independent study aid for technicians going for NICET certification in Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems — Level I and Level II. It is built by someone who worked the electrical and life-safety trade, for the way the job actually goes: five minutes on a tailgate, offline in a basement, the week before the exam.

EXAM READINESS, NOT A GUESS
One number that answers the only question you actually have: am I ready to book? It weighs all twelve exam domains — including the ones you have never been tested on, which count as zero rather than being quietly skipped — together with your full-length mock results. Then it names the single thing to fix next, and how many questions a day it will take before your exam date.

FULL-LENGTH TIMED MOCKS
85 questions in 110 minutes, and 80 in 110, matching the published exam format. Pacing is most of what a mock exam teaches, so the mocks are the real length rather than a convenient sample. Every run is scored domain by domain, with a review of everything you missed.

245 QUESTIONS, EVERY ONE EXPLAINED
Each question carries a worked explanation and a code reference, because the skill the exam is testing is finding the answer, not having memorised it. Practice a single domain, a level, or let the app aim you at your weakest area.

32 LESSONS ACROSS 12 MODULES
Ordered the way the trade teaches it: what the code says, what the devices do, how the circuits carry them, and how you prove it works.

SPACED REPETITION
127 flashcards, scheduled so each one comes back at the point you are about to forget it.

FIELD TOOLS THAT GIVE A VERDICT
Not a calculator — a check. Secondary power, battery load test, audibility, strobe candela, detector sensitivity, reacceptance sampling, the ITM frequency table, Ohm's law and drawing scale. Each one takes what you measured and returns pass, deficiency or fail.

FIELD LOG
Save any tool result against a job, then export the whole log as a plain-text report. This is the half of the app you will still be opening six months after you pass.

REFERENCE
A 155-term glossary, 18 formulas, and the drawing-legend symbols. Searchable, and all of it offline.

WORKS OFFLINE
Everything ships on the device. No account, no sign-in, no server, no connection needed.

WHAT IS FREE
Level I lessons, practice, flashcards, a 20-question timed warm-up, and every field tool.

WHAT FULL ACCESS ADDS
Level II lessons, the full-length timed mock exams, the exam readiness score, the field log, unlimited practice sessions, and no ads. One purchase, once. No subscription and nothing to cancel.

NOT AFFILIATED
This app is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NICET, NFPA, or Pearson VUE. NICET does not publish a passing score for this certification — the 70% benchmark used in the app is our own study target, not the real cut score. Code values are summarised for study and may differ from the edition adopted in your jurisdiction. Always verify against the adopted code text, the manufacturer's published instructions, and your AHJ before inspecting or testing a system.
