The mobile app is great, but I feel like overall it is a little bit slower than apps like we bull. I do wish that Firs trade had a desktop app and/or for the mobile app to allow us to view the charts for specific contract options. This is a feature that we bull has and robinhood has to an extent as well. It would be nice if firs trade implemented this feature. Currently, 4/5 but adding that feature/speeding up interface would make the app 5/5.

Would be nice if you let me trade options because that's what I open this account for but your platform is so much better than the Taiwanese brokerage I was forced to use, so here are your 5 stars.

I'm able to do all of my trading and check out fairly decent charts with the indicators I normally use. I switched over from ally after having issues transferring money to my account. Edit: This app goes back and forth with issues and improvements. My biggest gripe is that you can't sell off fractions when you close positions. I think I have to call and request it?! Maybe snail mail a request letter? Who knows? So, I have random stocks with shares of like .0327 ... and the like.

I've had an account with this brokerage since 2019. I recently switched banks and had to wait the 2–3 days to validate the initial deposit(s) But then they continued to restrict my account until I submitted my driver's license and my most recent bank statements. It is 2025 and there are many other brokers that don't create such a hassle just to deposit or withdraw funds. I would advise anyone to consider this "free" brokerage app to consider the cost of giving away so much information.
