Description by Wallfacer(from Google Play)
Fishing Log is a private fishing journal, catch log, and fishing logbook for anglers who want their fishing spots to stay secret. No account. No cloud. No social feed — just your trips on your phone.
WHY THIS LOG • Start a session in seconds, tap Fish on!, pick a species, slide length, keep or release. • Built-in species search by common name, scientific name, or alias. • Save fishing spots with on-device encrypted coordinates; exports can blur exact locations. • Log the conditions that matter: water temp, wind, clarity, moon phase — plus fly, ice, and lure method fields. • See your own patterns: personal bests, catches by month, lure leaderboard, and insights. • Ice anglers: record ice thickness from your history with a clear safety disclaimer.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN Fully usable offline. No analytics SDK and no cloud sync of your journal. Spot coordinates use AES-GCM encryption with a key in the platform keystore. Your fishing logbook stays on this device.
YOUR DATA, YOURS Export anytime: CSV (one row per catch) or a full JSON backup. Deleted items rest in a 30-day trash you can restore.
PREMIUM — ONE-TIME Free includes 20 catches. Premium is a single lifetime unlock — unlimited catches, full stats & insights, CSV/JSON export, future method packs, and ad-free. No subscription.
Built for anglers who keep a fishing diary and catch log, not a social profile.
Recent changes: Fixes for recording and the log: • After opening Log, Record opens your trip again • Resuming a trip restores catches, spot, and conditions • Weather notes keep values you already saved • Blank calendar days can no longer be selected • Catch lists show the species • Deleting or restoring a trip refreshes the log right away
