Comments on Flash Cast (Chromecast & VLC) for Android

★★★★★ Wow! Thanks devs for doing what others could not! *** One problem: many file hosting sites don't allow you to copy the URL to the clipboard, and Flash Cast does not seem to be associated with video URLs. So I had to install a workaround app "Copy Link to Clipboard" and then manually paste into Flash Cast. Please fix :-) /// Web Video Cast now also plays MKV, and it is more polished and functional than Flash Cast.

★★★★★ Good for streaming music to VLC, Lets me save a playlist :) HOWEVER sometimes songs get mixed up... also when you remove the app from recents while playing something, it stops and doesn't continue playing in the background... AND THEN you are stuck with the apps notification that doesn't work since app is closed.

★★★★★ Great app add directory link What it says it does that please add directory to select from SD card folder

★★★★★ Paid for 2 similar apps. Rubbish. This is by far the best I've tried. Also MKV is not mentioned in the description for Chromecast but works fine too.

★★☆☆☆ Freeze -> reboot Always make freeze my phone when open app, after sometime reboot my phone. My phone is rooted but i'm not find this app use root permission. Please fix this problem. My phone is Xperia E4 dual

★★☆☆☆ it kind of works sometimes.. but the playlist casting does not work.. create a playlist ..the first item played then it stops.. having to long press every picture to "enqueue" is just awfull... try using tick boxes.. how do you name & save a playlist ? (even if you could play them).. shockingly bad gui

★★☆☆☆ can only cast to vlc on a pc. had no option to scan network for devices

★★☆☆☆ The app stop playing, & the play button disappears so you have to stop & restart the video. Then it stops playing & stops casting altogether.

★★☆☆☆ I have barf time setting up play list then it deletes it
