FlashFade is a dimmable flashlight app that lets you choose exactly how bright your phone's LED torch shines — from a soft glow for reading in bed to full power for finding your way in the dark.

It also packs a strobe light, an SOS signal and a Morse code sender into one clean screen you can use with one thumb.

GOOD TO KNOW
• Brightness control uses the flashlight strength feature introduced in Android 13 and needs a phone whose LED supports more than one light level. On other devices FlashFade works as an on/off flashlight with strobe, SOS and Morse code.
• Accessibility Service: the optional volume button shortcut uses an Accessibility Service only to detect when both volume buttons are pressed together, so it can switch the flashlight on or off. Only volume key events are used, and the shortcut stays off unless you enable it.
