Description
Flashlight Launcher combines practical lighting tools with an optional Android home screen. Open the app whenever you need a torch, or set it as your Home app to reach the same tools by swiping right from your home screen.
LIGHTING TOOLS
• LED flashlight — Turn your device’s camera flash on or off with one tap. • SOS signal — Flash the international SOS pattern and choose a slow, normal, or fast signal speed. • Color screen light — Use your display as a full-screen light and adjust its color with a slider. • Camera magnifier — View small text and nearby objects more easily, with an optional light. • Adjustable torch level — Change flashlight intensity on supported Android 13 or later devices.
HOME SCREEN FEATURES
When you choose Flashlight Launcher as your Android Home app, you can:
• Swipe right to open the flashlight panel. • Swipe up to browse all installed apps. • Search for apps from the home screen. • Organize shortcuts into folders. • Add compatible Android widgets. • Choose and apply included wallpapers. • View clock and weather information from the home screen.
YOU STAY IN CONTROL
Setting Flashlight Launcher as your default Home app is optional. Android displays the system Home app picker before making the change. You can switch back to your previous launcher at any time from Flashlight Launcher settings or Android settings. Your previous launcher keeps its own icons and layout.
Feature availability depends on your device hardware, Android version, permissions, and network connection. Camera access is used for the device torch and magnifier. Weather information requires internet access.
## Source verification notes
The following claims from the previous draft were removed because they were unsupported, overstated, or not exposed by the current UI:
• “ultimate,” “super bright,” “ultra-bright,” and “maximum brightness” • “fastest” and “most reliable” • activation “in less than a second” • “Smart Battery Saver” and “minimal battery drain” • dedicated flashlight widgets and quick-toggle widgets • custom app icons • auto-off, battery status, strobe, and emergency modes
The source contains partial or internal implementations for some removed features, but they are not currently available from the published flashlight interface and should not be advertised until they are exposed and tested in the release build.
