Think of it as your phone's address book for the internet. Every time you open an app or a website, your phone looks up where to go. Normally that lookup goes to your carrier or your Wi-Fi provider. Flow lets you send it to a provider you choose instead. Many can be faster, and many block known malware and phishing sites before they ever load.

HOW FLOW WORKS
Flow uses Android's built-in VPN feature to change your DNS. It all happens on your phone: your internet traffic isn't sent through Flow's servers, and Flow doesn't hide your IP address or location. You'll see a small key icon in your status bar while protection is on.
