Comments on Flux Cards (flash cards) for Android

★★★★★ Best app I've found I've tried several of the most highly rated flash card apps for android and this is by far my favorite. There are a some features I like better from other apps. I'd like to be able to edit my cards on my computer and or sync my decks with quizlet, so I can make changes there, but all in all this app has been the easiest to use and has the most features I like.

★★★★★ THE flashcard app for Note users This app lets you sync with quizlet and allows you to type out your cards OR DRAW THEM. Soooo great with a Spen!

★★☆☆☆ Useless for Arabic Don't bother trying to learn anything with Arabic script on these cards. I imported my Arabic cards from Quizlet (great feature by the way) to find that it was impossible to use this app with them. Not only does it separate all the characters out into their isolated form, it also reverses them so that you have to read the word from left to right!

★★☆☆☆ Most expensive flashcard app, but limited function While I like the interface, the inability to use images without paying. Get this, not a one time charge to unlock premium features, but a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION?!?! I'm sorry, but a subscription fee doesn't make sense to me unless you're providing some sort of ongoing service. I pay a subscription for premium features, priority customer service, and larger data limits from Evernote and Dropbox, but Flux Cards does not offer enough to justify a recurring monthly fee. Pros: interface works well with longer multistep cards Cons: No web sync service (even with subscription) No images without monthly subscription No support for HTML or other tool to vary formatting
