Focus Go is the gallery I always wanted to have, so I built it. I don't like bloated galleries with 23093485 features, so I only built the ones I need/think are needed.

Getting better with each update, the folder has many photos but just after swiping 3 photos it shows next folder photo in group by folder mode, giving option to folder view in icons instead of list would be good.

Great app, smooth quick and clean. May I ask for the option to exclude or limit access to only specific folders? In response: Some other apps have a way in settings to say only search for images in these folders, or ignore images in these folders. As an example, I would like to exclude all files in the 'download' folder or the 'music' folder. Or to be more grainial, allow access to the 'pictures' folder but exclude the 'work' subfolder within the 'pictures' folder.

If you are looking for a lightweight and non-bloated gallery app this is it! And the app is constantly updated for optimizations. I hope dev adds some advanced options in the future!

If this has just 1 additional feature I'd keep it on my phone. But as it doesn't, I'll have to say buh-bye. The feature? Landscape and portrait thumbnails. I always take multiples in both modes and if I'm only looking for 1 mode I don't want to have to suffer through the ones I won't be using. I only have 1 gallery app that has it, so I'll be sticking with that. Too been tho, it's getting a little bit long in the tooth.

I appreciate the creator's objective of having very light gallery - and I'm sure many people like their galleries just so. But I have thousands of photos and videos, organizing them by albums, listing by alphabetical order and being able to easily edit the names (of the file) are critical. Being able to list by file size is also key when I'm trying to compress the heaviest files. So for people like me, Focus Go gets uninstalled very quickly.
