Focuso Focus Timer

Focuso is a focus timer that cannot interrupt you. It has no notification permission, so there is nothing in it that can buzz, ping or pull you out of what you are doing. It holds the screen awake, counts down, and plays a short tone at the end if you are still there.

That is an honest limit and the app says so on the start screen rather than letting you find out the hard way.

WHAT IS INSIDE

• Focus — pick what you are working on and how long for
• Running — one full screen, a countdown ring, and nothing else
• Sessions — today in order, each marked completed, stopped early or interrupted
• Session — one session in detail, including exactly where it stopped
• Tasks — what you focus on, with hours and session counts
• Task — one task's pattern, its best hour and its completion rate
• Stats — which hours of the day actually work for you
• Day — one day as a timeline, with the gaps between sessions shown
• Export — every session and task, as CSV

MEASURED HONESTLY

The countdown reads the clock rather than counting its own ticks, so a dropped frame or a sleeping device costs nothing, and changing the system time cannot confuse it. Leaving the app marks a session interrupted and records how far it got — seven minutes is logged as seven minutes, never rounded up to a full one. An app that quietly counts an abandoned session as a complete one is measuring your optimism rather than your work.

NO STREAK, ON PURPOSE

There is no flame, no badge and no chain to break. Focuso shows completion rates by hour instead, which is a fact about your day rather than a judgement about you. If most of what you start after two in the afternoon never finishes, the chart says so and leaves the conclusion to you.

NO ACCOUNT, NO NETWORK, NO PERMISSIONS

Focuso requests zero Android permissions and has no network code, so nothing about how you spend your time leaves the phone. No sign-in, no subscription, no in-app purchase, no advertising.

WHAT IT WILL NOT DO

It cannot ring while you are in another app, run a timer in the background, or vibrate at the end — all three need permissions this app does not ask for. It cannot block other apps, which needs accessibility or usage access. And it will not keep a streak, because that was a choice rather than a limitation.

Six full-screen background themes are included under More. The interface is English throughout.
