Works very well, no problem connecting to the batteries as long as you remember to turn on location. It would be good if the app worked without requiring location and if the batteries needed a PIN code to connect Bluetooth. Despite those niggles, a really good app.

Would be nice to have a light theme if possible. Also, some pages like protect history are hard to read with those colors. When current is shown on the main screen why not make the circular color bar red and not just a negative symbol (-) when more current is being drawn than being put into the battery. The app does not show very low drain device's (For example diesel heater fan running).

Love it....but. Weds night was at 79% nothing in van running. Slight charge to 12v switch panel and tracker. But they've been on 12 months no issues. Thursday messages from Tracker to say no power to tracker. Fog star Drift 230ah with only 2 cycles was down to zero and 5.36v. Fortunately, it seems to be charging up OK and so far holding the charge.

I almost didn't buy a fog star battery because of these poor reviews. And I'm so glad I ignored them as the battery is great and the app is perfectly functional. I've not had connection issues as described in other reviews, sometimes when returning to the app after my device has gone to sleep it requires closing the app and restarting. Security was a big concern, but you can set a pin lock for connecting (it's just hidden by tapping the logo on the dashboard)

The app does what it basically needs to do, but... its very annoying going through the list of other Bluetooth devices that are nothing to do with Fog star. Having to select the battery every time I open the app 🤦🏻♂️. I can only view one battery at a time. Would like to see what both batteries are doing at the same time and stay logged into it.

The scaling in the history is of no use. Linking Ah (280 in my case) with temperature (say -10C to 50C) makes the temperature pointless. Same as Voltage with Amps. Voltage range will be very narrow (10-15v) compared to +/-50 amps for current. User defined ranges would be more useful for real world use. Also, why the need for reconnecting BT every time?

It will not stay connected to my battery. If I move to another screen, it loses connection. When reconnecting, I have to go through the multiple options on Bluetooth, mostly always opening and closing the app more than once. Reading around, I'm not the only one with this issue, yet Fog star continue with it this way. I have a Vic tron app, that does not do this, always stays connected to the devices. Shame as it's a great battery!
