Foldmark

Foldmark turns your home renovation plan into a clear, visual timeline you can hold in your hand. The app feels like a wooden workbench where a bright yellow measuring tape unrolls to show every task ahead. You start by adding milestones—short, actionable steps like “Order kitchen cabinets” or “Paint bathroom ceiling”—with a target date, room, and priority. The dedicated Add tab opens a simple form with native date pickers and room selectors so you can capture a new task in seconds. Once saved, your milestone appears as a colourful triangular sticky flag pinned to the tape at the exact week mark relative to today. The Dashboard greets you with two heavy metal L‑hook counters displaying your total milestones and the ones due this week, giving you an instant project pulse. Right below, a strip of the next three upcoming flags keeps your immediate priorities front and centre, and a spool of blank flags invites you to add more. On the Timeline tab, you can scroll along the full tape and see every milestone laid out chronologically, with titles printed in pencil for a personal workshop feel. Tapping any flag opens the detail screen where you can edit dates, change the room, or adjust the priority level in a few taps. The Rooms tab organises your project by area, showing a grid of room cards each with a count of its milestones; tap a room to see only the flags for that space. Swipe left on any milestone in a list to delete it instantly, keeping your plan clean and focused. A built-in search filters milestones by title so you can jump straight to “grout” or “lighting” without scrolling through everything. Your entire project lives securely on your device with no accounts, no cloud syncing, and no internet connection required—perfect for dusty job sites and weekend planning sessions away from a desk. Because completed milestones are marked not with a tick but with a subtle folded flag corner and a faint coffee ring stain, your progress feels rewarding without breaking the workshop metaphor. Foldmark is designed for homeowners, DIY enthusiasts, and couples who want to coordinate renovation weekends with a tactile, privacy-first tool that respects the craft of making a house a home.
