Never thought that the Android app would also be the best music player like the one for Windows. It is the only one player that correctly reads .cue playlists and overall this app works just flawlessly!

The interface is a bit archaic but it's foobar. If you already know foobar, you know what's up. I was expecting it to be able to read and play music from .rar files, while it cannot be scanned automatically, you can play the music from the .rar file by going to the files directly, which is unfortunate. I quite like how foobar (Windows version) reads the music files directly from .rar files. Hopefully this gets added in the future.

I used Foobar2000 for over two years on my last phone, and it was scanning my phone memory to find Flac music files, and I was just putting my tracks and mixes into Music folder on Android. Now I installed Foobar on the new phone, and it only sees "Foobar2000 Music Folder", I don't know where it is, but it's empty, so I cannot play any music. Previous version was allowing to browse all files on the device, it shows "Music on internal storage", now it's not in the main menu anymore.

Playlist feature is severely lacking, plus using shuffle in playlist repeats one song ad infinitum often

Often I like to listen to a single ambient song on repeat while working, but whenever I try with Foobar2000 on Android, it ends up stopping playback after 20-50 minutes & I have to open the app to resume playback. This issue doesn't occur with any other media players on my phone. I love Foobar2000 on PC, but sadly doesn't work for my needs on Android 😢

Foobar2000 is making navigation to standard media player functions unnecessarily difficult. Repeat single track is obfuscated from the player UI, "reshuffle now" is also buried. With words and words and words of outright unnecessary menus. Why this change? To me, it sounds like you're just making navigation needlessly difficult. I still praise its media library system for being robust, albeit that it takes upwards of 40 minutes to index a library of just 21k tracks. I'm considering alternatives.
