Forest Police: Hunter Chase

You are the Forest Police. Poachers, illegal hunters, are loose in the reserve, and they are after its protected animals. Take the wheel of an off-road police 4x4 with a roof turret and a prisoner cage, chase them through jungle, desert and across the river, and bring every one of them in alive.

PLAY OFFLINE, ANYWHERE
No internet needed: drive, chase and catch with no connection at all, at home or on the road. Only the optional short ads that give a reward (a refuel or repair, a second chance, the radar) need internet.

HUNT THE HUNTERS
• Listen for rifle shots. Early missions mark a search area on the minimap; later, a shot lights up the shooter for only a moment.
• Chase them through the trees, over the sand and across the river's four bridges. Some poachers ride horses.
• Stop them your way: throw the rope, hold the roof turret (three hits floor a poacher) or simply drive into him with the bumper.
• Your ranger jumps out, takes him down and drags him to the cage. Lock up every poacher to win.

THEY FIGHT BACK
• Poachers shoot at your truck. Keep moving: a moving truck is harder to hit.
• Packs of wolves, hyenas and buffalo charge the truck, and bulls, moose, lions and dingoes charge alone. Sound the horn to scatter them.
• From mission 3, a caught poacher may break out of the cage, and you have to catch him again.
• There is no timer. Fuel is your only clock, and a battered truck drives slower.

PROTECT THE WILDLIFE
The reserve is alive with 22 animal species plus elephants on the river bank, grazing herds, flocks of birds and predators that hunt. You are there to protect them: every animal you shoot or run down counts against you, and hurting too many ends the mission.

• RANGER: the balanced patrol SUV.
• RHINO: armoured, climbs anything, the heaviest and thirstiest.
• TRACKER: open-top trail 4x4, the fastest, lightest and most economical.
• DROVER: an old farm pickup with the roomiest cage.
• RAIDER: a lifted rig with a snorkel that wades the river.
RANGER and RHINO are ready from the start; TRACKER, DROVER and RAIDER unlock after missions 5, 10 and 15. Pick your truck and paint in the garage and compare speed, power, grip and range.

DAY, NIGHT AND STORM
Six weathers: day, day rain, day storm, storm, night and night storm, plus Real Time, which follows your phone's clock. Headlights switch on by themselves after dark, and a poacher's torch or muzzle flash gives him away. Hit the siren and the chase is on.
