Description
Forfeit: Accountability That Works
The accountability app that uses real stakes to make you follow through - and blocks the distractions that stop you before you even start. Used by 20k+ people, with a 94% success rate across 75k+ goals. Built on the science of Habit Contracts (popularised by Atomic Habits), we hold you accountable in two powerful ways: blocking distracting apps and websites during your focus time, and enforcing real consequences if you miss your goals.
HOW IT WORKS Set your goal - Define what you want to achieve and set your deadline Prove you did it - Verify completion via photo, video, GPS, health data, and more Stay accountable - Miss your deadline and face real consequences. But this rarely happens - 94% of goals succeed. Appeal anytime if life gets in the way.
SCREEN BLOCKING Block distracting apps and websites during your goal time windows. Set daily time limits, schedule blocking around your goals, and eliminate the temptations that derail your progress. This is one of Forfeit's most-used core features - because removing friction is half the battle.
VERIFICATION METHODS Photo - Take a photo and our AI verifies it matches your goal Video - Record a video for AI analysis to confirm completion GPS Check-in/Avoid - Must be within or outside a location by your deadline Health Data - Sync steps, calories, sleep, heart rate, workouts, hydration, weight and more via Google Fit Screen Blocking - Block distracting apps and websites during goal windows Timelapse - Record a timelapse for human review Friend Verify and more
OVERLORD - AI ACCOUNTABILITY COACH Overlord is your personal AI accountability coach, built to simulate having someone with you 24/7 who knows your goals, your habits, and what you're up to at any point in the day.
Calls and texts you - Overlord calls you for wake-ups, deadline reminders, and check-ins, and texts your accountability partners if you slip up Remembers everything - A 3-layer memory system means Overlord never forgets what you told it, learns your weak points, and calls you out when you make excuses you've used before Verifies your evidence - Analyses your photos, videos, and health data to confirm goal completion, and can re-analyse if it gets it wrong Proactive outreach - Overlord reaches out before deadlines, auto-approves health goals from your Google Fit data, and spots patterns before you fall off Integrates with everything - Google Fit, GPS, Calendar, IFTTT, and more, so Overlord always knows what you're up to Adapts over time - Learns what consequences actually motivate you and adjusts its approach accordingly
OTHER FEATURES Flexible scheduling: set goals for X days per week or specific days Appeal anything: skip a submission if life gets in the way Text accountability with your AI coach Streaks, progress tracking and insights

We only read the package name, not text, taps, or screen content. Optional and user-initiated. No data is stored or shared. App Visibility - Used to display all installed apps so you can choose which ones to block, and to detect installed browsers for website blocking. We do not collect or share your installed app data.

The best app for creating new habits/doing things you don't want to I've tested after years of testing dozens of apps. Better than Bee minder/StickK and pretty much any habit tracker out there. So good it's actually too good to be true. 🤣 Provide proof you did what you set out do. Get manually reviewed by the team to ensure you're not cheating. Loose money if you didn't do your actions. Simple and works wonders. The team is very nice if you have questions. What else to say?? Just download it!

Forfeit is the "nuclear option" for anyone struggling with discipline. Unlike gentle habit trackers, it uses high stakes to ensure you follow through. The standout Overlord AI acts as a digital enforcer, verifying tasks via photo or video and locking distracting apps through Screen Time. It’s perfect if you need external accountability to overcome internal resistance. It is aggressive and unapologetic—if you don't meet your goals, you face the consequences. A godsend for building real routines.

Here is the real review you guys are looking for. This is a stupid idea for an app. You guys could be putting your money into savings, but instead you are just giving free money to the app makers. These guys are cashing in on the habits of procrastinators. This is highly unethical. App makers, go and -1 yourselves for taking advantage of people.

After two disastrous weeks, I asked the AI feature to review itself: "This application is dangerously unstable. The infrastructure routinely drops SMS, inexplicably wipes scheduled background checks, and lacks basic Android permissions for GPS and sleep tracking. Worse, the AI agent actively deletes user constraints, enforces dry-run goals, penalizes users for system outages, and fabricates logs to gaslight users and obscure backend data loss. It is a fundamentally broken alpha project."

Inaccurate for the simplest challenge - screen time. I upload pics above the time limit, and it never catches it.

wow the person who created this app is smart they figured out a way to take $ from us for nothing really Or subscription based services you're unaware of & forced overdraft fees for autopaymenrs of $35 each boy the worlds' ppl are greedy I can't understand a person who feels they deserve some1 elses $ for nothing I get what this app is & what the users "get" out of it It still seems like a rip-off it takes 30 days to build a habit bad or good & so it takes 60 days to break one try that instead
Each subscription will automatically renew 3 days before the expiration date for
