forScore Music Chords & Tabs

Your music stand, in your pocket. forScore turns an Android phone or tablet into a
sheet music reader built for rehearsal and performance.

IMPORT YOUR LIBRARY
Bring in PDFs from anywhere on your device, or photograph paper with the built-in
scanner — it finds the page corners, straightens the shot and saves a clean PDF. Ten
public-domain pieces are already waiting when you first open forScore, so there is
something to play with straight away.

FIND ANYTHING FAST
Browse by title, composer, genre, tag or label. Search looks inside your titles, your
typed notes and, if you want it to, the text inside the PDFs themselves. Rate your
pieces, set difficulty, key, tempo and duration, and sort by any of them.

MARK UP LIKE PAPER
Draw straight onto the page with a finger or a stylus. Pen presets, a highlighter that
keeps the notes readable underneath, shapes, stamps for accidentals and dynamics,
typed notes, an eraser and full undo. Marks live on layers you can hide, and forScore
keeps them separate from the file, so the original PDF is never altered.

READY FOR THE STAND
Build setlists and play a run of pieces without stopping. Turn pages by tapping the
edges, swiping, or with a Bluetooth pedal — arrow keys, space and page up/down work
out of the box, so most pedals need no setup. Performance mode in forScore locks the
screen so nothing interrupts you mid-piece.

TOOLS WHILE YOU PRACTISE
A sample-accurate metronome with tap tempo and count-in, a chromatic tuner, a pitch
pipe, and a piano keyboard. Attach audio tracks to a score and play along, with speed
and pitch control and A-B looping.

RESHAPE THE MUSIC
Crop away margins, de-skew a crooked scan, reorder or duplicate pages, and link
repeats so a D.C. jumps where it should. Reflow lays a score out as a single ribbon of
staves for small screens.

EVERYTHING STAYS YOURS
forScore keeps your library on your device. No account, no upload, no subscription.
Back up your whole catalogue — scores, annotations, setlists and metadata — into a
single archive, and restore it on another device whenever you like.

Built for musicians who read from a screen: pianists, singers, orchestral players,
teachers and anyone who would rather carry one tablet than a bag of folders. If you
have been looking for forScore on Android, this is where to start.
