This is a great resource for families who are fostering. It includes for your region businesses that offer free/discounted activities and services for families who foster. I wish this would have been around when we were foster parents! What a smart way to get the community involved.

I am a foster parent, and I like the concept, but there are things that would be a benefit to foster parents but in some of these businesses in order to get the benefit you have to use there service and I don't particularly agree with this. My understanding was that people were donating these things to help foster parents not as an advertisement for there business.

Many of the organizations highlighted discriminate against members of the community, especially LGBTQ+ youth and families. This is problematic and there should be an advisory warning that they discriminate and exclude, rather than affirm and love.
