■ Who it is for
· Anyone learning BaZi or the four pillars from books and videos who gave up on the older, cluttered chart apps
· Readers who had to leave the app and search every time a term like Hurting Officer or Rob Wealth appeared
· People who want to save charts for family, friends and partners and compare them side by side
· Students who were confused when different apps disagreed because of late-hour, daylight-saving or longitude settings
· Anyone who wanted to screenshot their chart but found the layout too plain to share
■ What is inside
1. The Four Pillars chart
Year, month, day and hour pillars with heavenly stems, earthly branches, hidden stems and ten gods on one screen. The day pillar (your Day Master) is highlighted so you always know which character represents you, and every character is colour coded by its element — Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. If the birth hour is unknown, the chart is calculated from three pillars instead.
2. Element balance
A donut chart and percentages show how the five elements are distributed across your chart, which energy runs strong, which one is missing, and which element would help balance it. A Day Master profile card describes the temperament tied to your day stem.
3. Ten gods, twelve stages and stars
A table lists the ten gods (Friend, Rob Wealth, Eating God, Hurting Officer, Indirect Wealth, Direct Wealth, Seven Killings, Direct Officer, Indirect Resource, Direct Resource) and twelve life stages for each pillar. Major stars such as Nobleman, Travel, Peach Blossom and Canopy, plus void branches and branch interactions (six harmony, trine, directional, clash, punishment, break and harm) are included.
4. Luck pillars, yearly and monthly luck
See your luck-pillar start age and direction, then ten decade pillars laid out with ages and years, with the current period highlighted. Yearly luck around the present year and this year's monthly luck follow underneath. Tap any cell to open the ten god and life stage for that period.
5. Plain-language terms and a glossary
Every term badge on the chart opens an explanation — what it means, the temperament it suggests, and a balancing note, in three short sentences. Related terms are linked so you can keep reading. The Glossary tab lets you search or browse by category: ten gods, stems, branches, elements, life stages, stars and core concepts.
6. Save and compare people
Store charts for yourself, a partner, friends, family or colleagues with relation tags. The list shows each person's Day Master at a glance, and favourites stay pinned at the top.
7. Share as an image or an AI prompt
Export the chart as a card image to send in any messenger. You can also copy the full chart as text and paste it into an AI assistant when you want a longer interpretation.
■ Transparent calculation
Solar-term boundaries follow published Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute data to the minute, and lunar conversion uses the Korean standard. Late Rat Hour handling, daylight-saving correction for 1948-1988, and longitude correction between 135°E and Seoul can each be switched on or off in settings, and charts recalculate the moment you change them.
■ Light and private
No sign-up. Birth details and saved charts stay on your phone and are never sent to a server. Everything is calculated on device, so it works in airplane mode. Korean and English are supported, along with a dark theme.
Built to stay readable whether this is your first chart or your hundredth.
※ This app calculates charts and explains terminology from traditional Four Pillars sources as a study and reference tool. It does not predict or guarantee any outcome.
Recent changes:
· Stems and branches now read as standard BaZi English names — "Yang Wood", "Rat" — instead of romanized Korean readings
· Star names and the calculation-standard note are translated too
· English listing renamed to Four Pillars: BaZi Chart
