★★★★★ Great app. Funny entry for 'basket' Works really well, very pleased with it. Made me laugh today looking at the 'Moby thesaurus' entry for 'basket' - basically loads of words for genitals.

★★☆☆☆ Not compatible with new Android update Tries to install WordNet 3.0 to sd card when 3rd party apps don't have access to it. Means that the database doesn't get installed and using this dictionary in offline mode yields no results. Fundamental flaw.

★★☆☆☆ I've had this app for years, and it had been brilliant, especially use of the voice option. But! Sadly within the last few mouths it keeps crashing every time you press the mic/voice option and is now pretty much useless. You can still use the text option. Used to have 4–5 stars, but now has only 1-2.

★★☆☆☆ FREE suggestions!! I downloaded this app mainly for moon+ reader. But I regret. It doesn't work well with this reader. *when you are reading in moon+ and look for the meaning of a word, FDO doesn't show the offline meaning directly. You have to press search button. I mean it should act smart enough to switch betwn online & offline mode. *it doesn't support TTS? To know the pronunciation of word. I see the speaker button in above screenshots, But not in my app. And I am using v2.5.1 *some words missing from offline data. e.g. teser. I guess data is outdated. *dark theme would be nice!

★★☆☆☆ Always requires a network connect This is pretty much a waste of space, word web is way better doesn't require a network connect for "offline" mode. Word web also doesn't have ads.
