Fretiva: Learn Guitar

Learn to play the guitar from zero, ten minutes a day. Fretiva is a real guitar course, free and offline, with a tuner, a chord library with sound, songs and exercises in one light app.

A COURSE FROM ZERO
32 short lessons in 6 units, in a clear order: the parts of the guitar, how to hold it, tuning, reading chord diagrams and tabs, your first chords (Em, Am, E, A, D, G, C, Dm), counting and strumming, your first songs, the capo, melodies, fingerpicking and alternating bass, power chords, seventh chords, the 12-bar blues, barre chords and the pentatonic scale. Every lesson explains with drawings, then you listen and play along.

A TUNER THAT OPENS AT ONCE
Play a string and the needle tells you if it is low, high or in tune. 9 tunings for free: standard, half step down, whole step down, Drop D, Drop C, DADGAD, open G, open D and open E. Reference pitch from 430 to 446 Hz. Touch a string to hear its note and tune by ear. The microphone only listens: nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.

204 CHORDS WITH SOUND
Every key and 17 chord types: major, minor, 7, m7, maj7, sus2, sus4, power chords, add9, 6, m6, 9, 7sus4, dim, dim7, m7b5 and aug. Several positions on the neck for each chord, with the finger numbers, the barre, the open and muted strings, the notes, and the sound strummed or note by note.

SONGS THAT NEVER DISAPPEAR
14 traditional and public domain songs with easy chords over the words: When the Saints Go Marching In, Amazing Grace, Red River Valley, Scarborough Fair, Oh! Susanna, Jingle Bells, Happy Birthday and more. Transpose the key, choose the text size and let the page scroll by itself.
