I get what you're saying but still might want update Fritter to meet the new Google, Android Google Play Store security update policy standards that will probably cover new Android devices running Android 10, Android 11, Android 12 and Android 13 the direct login feature will help as a backup when Fritter doesn't work properly or can't recognize wireless Internet data or Wi-Fi accurately

I like it, it mostly works well though there are sometimes a few errors when loading replies, but it's healable. My main issue is that I use the app to read up on Russians invasion, and the translation limit "(250)" can be irritating. That's my only issue with my personal browsing! Edit Deux: opted into beta then out rq to update this review; I greatly appreciate the reply + I love the beta look. I hope it can be pushed to production cos it looks really nice. Hopefully things are fixed for me too!
★★★★★
Absolutely great app, I just want to view some tweets, not actually use Twitter, (or any other social media for that matter) and this app does just what I want. Only complaints: some tweets seem to disappear, as in you can see them but can't watch the replies without error code (even this is pretty rare), and I would like to change translate language to english, it would translate better and I can speak it. Other than that great stuff

Broken by recent Twitter updates. RIP Fritter. You were a good app and I hope there's a workaround.
★★☆☆☆
Good concept, poor execution. You're unable to read entire threads. For example if a thread has 150 comments, you might be able to see 25. It also has "catastrophic failures" more times than I care to count. For a twitter lurker who doesn't want an actual account I was hopeful, but not the case.
★★☆☆☆
No longer works... "Catastrophic Failure: Forbidden" on every attempt to see news feed. (CAN see individual profiles... Also, I was using the newer version from F-droid.) No doubt it's something that Armpit Musk did... but it needs a workaround (assuming Twitter still allows 3rd-party apps).
★★☆☆☆
It's been a good app until recently. You can do literally everything but search for tweets (you can search for accounts perfectly fine, but not tweets). It says there's a catastrophic error when you try searching for tweets.
