Great game overall. Lots of units, good graphics, fairly deep mechanics. Needs better zoom as everything is too small. Scalable UI would be perfect. Hopefully the devs will support and develop it. Would love multiplayer. Zoom issue is fixed. Much better now. Still issues when trying to look at unit stats. Seems you press and hold, but your finger covers it up. Needs a better way to look at units. Maybe double tap, and it stays until you tap again?

I would really love to give this game 5 stars, but I cannot get past the Sicily Scenario. Even when I play both sides and achieve victory for both, the game doesn't advance. I like the earlier editions of the game and if you like playing the same scenario over again, this game is fun. It's a straight forward turn based game. The animations are decent as are the maps and unit icons UI is simple but the hover effect can obscure parts of the screen with unsolicited information

Can't play as Germans but in sandbox mode and why can't I call in fallschrimjagers??? Ruined cassino... Dude the fallschirmjagers held out for 7 months at mounte cassino??? So you should be able to bring them in through the cities

See my review for Frontline Eastern Front. Only advantages this has is a sandbox capability abet very limited to just the areas in the game. Limitations for the Allied player also detract from replayability. Recommended: no.

Only good thing is it doesn't drain battery like Eastern Front does. Bad is, way too small unit info print, unable to figure out any of the unit stats, needs to be like Eastern Front. Clouds too thick, Unit gets attacked because can't see to place them optimal. Limits # of units you can buy. My troops misfire at 4X than AI. Kill AI Box inaccurate. Sandbox isn't Sandbox, just another map, no ability to set up as player wants. Giving it a few days for hopeful update before I ask for refund. Email
