I mill and turn mostly stainless for the food processing industry and so far this app has been invaluable! The rpm and feed rates for tapping and drilling have been spot on. I had the free version, and it was pretty good but the pro version has more variety of machining calculations for many more materials. If I was to critique anything I would complain that I don't have any parameters for insert drills, but I guess those numbers are usually supplied by the manufacturer of said insert drills.

FS Wizard is well worth $50. As a programmer/machinist it saves me so much time calculating feeds and speeds getting me close to deadon run speeds. Not only that it helps saves your tools. My company actually paid me back for this app as they also saw the benefits of FS Wizard in my hands.

Best Machining reference app I've used. A couple of suggestions: ¹ Include a conversion for angles from decimal to degrees, minutes and seconds. ² Standard keyway tolerances/sizes. ³ update the threads chart, drill size, etc. Either the more standard chart like Sutton's or Zeus. Or like other options in the dropdown menu, where you type the size and it throws all the data at you for that size with tolerances etc. Keep up the good work.

Dangerous. I input the parameters using a 2" diameter, 3 insert face mill.062" depth of cut, across a .75" width of cut, in 1018 steel. Suggested 1048 rpm and 33 ipm feed. Cutter grenade. Thank god for guards. Don't waste your money.

Was an excellent app, now the drill point & true position calculators don't appear to work anymore. Also, the store page freezes when you scroll down for update info! Hmmm....

Bad experience. Feed and speed are different on android app with same setting on desktop app Don't know which works well Lost alot of tools. Now using wizard

Set units to mm, get report in nonstandard outdated units anyway.
