Great Content - but the App could use more maintenance. The text and paper is crisp and clean, but sometimes on my android fold, half the screen blacks out and could take 15-30 seconds to load. Overall, super convenient and great alternative to physical or higher priced digital.

I don't regret switching from Print to Digital and would do it again. The FT Digital Edition has the same content, look and "feel" of the print version (like a PDF of the print but better). Easier to browse to get a quick overview and select interesting articles to read now (or save for later), less cumbersome (no mountains of past issues), cheaper and environmentally friendly. It's also much easier to read on the go during the morning commute (try opening a print version in a packed subway ☺️).

Having terrible problems with this app on my Pixel 7 phone. The audio on the Articles are clipped at the end in each instance. The app consistently hangs between articles, and you have to manually click forward from your phone which is really annoying. Finally, even when you've downloaded an edition locally to your phone it appears you still require either an internet or network connection for it to work. Anyone else having these issues? Any help would be appreciated.

Why? I was quite happy going to the browser which default s to the newspaper facsimile and now this! I don't want the level of editing to extend to what I should read in the newspaper based upon what I have read in the past or what your bot thinks I want to read. Now I can't even find the facsimile

Feb 28 2026 the app will no longer display the paper in high-res. A pop-up message blames an Android app issue. The low-res version is unreadable on a standard sized Android phone.

This app is for one of the most expensive digital papers out there, therefore the expectations are high. Its functions are great, from zooming in to the highlighted titles that one can click. HOWEVER, I don't understand why it needs to be online to show papers already downloaded. So I can't use it on a tablet that doesn't have internet, unless I can connect to a hotspot of a phone in a location with internal. This is disappointing and beats the purpose.
