The application lets you use every pixel on the screen to provide better experience for reading books, watching videos and playing games.

AUTO mode needs USAGE ACCESS permission**. The permission is used to detect which app runs on top, in order to auto change the screen mode. MANUAL mode do not need any permission, it just works.
To use the ULTRA mode, you must grant the special permission WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS. You'll need ADB and PC/Mac connection. Known Issues only for ULTRA mode: - none, just works if running Android 10 and below. If running Android 11+ it might work only on Samsung devices.
Known Issues only for BASIC/PRO modes: - Android 10 + 11 might not work on some devices, the bars reappear after one second. Use the ULTRA mode to avoid the issues - The app is not designed to work for phones with hardware buttons since our app cannot hide plastic buttons. 😊 - The app is not designed for split screen
NOTE: we invested lot of time into testing on different devices, however this app is not perfect. Due to Android fragmentation could not work properly on some devices.

Today, after several, disablings of displaying over others of other apps like tasker, screen filter and reenabling it again, cache wiping reinstalling Immersive, reenabling write secure rights for Ultra and some others irreproducible steps, it started to work again... Oneplus8, Android11, Basic mode :-)

Simply does not work. It looks like an app that works, but it doesn't. Your settings I'm the app do not overridden your phones navigation menu.

One star because the developers are apparently unaware of the fact rooting is a thing. Response to devs saying root is a security risk: only if the apps you give access to are misusing it for illegal/malicious purpose! By saying you think root is insecure you are saying you would do such things!

Can't be used unfortunately because it tries to force you to watch full screen ads but they never load (I'm not using an ad blocker). I get loads of messages about "ad not loaded", "ad was loaded", "ad failed to load" even after leaving the app - the messages are flashing on my screen even while writing this review.
