Funnel: IT News Digest, 5 Min

Funnel turns the daily tech-news firehose into one five-minute briefing — and then it ends. You read it top to bottom, hit "you're all caught up," see how much scroll time you just got back, and close the app. That's the whole point.

The feed is the enemy. Hacker News, X, Reddit, LinkedIn — they're built to keep you on the hook, not to get you done. Funnel flips it: a lineup of engineering blogs, vendor announcements, and security feeds goes in, AI condenses the day, and every claim links straight to the real article.

Built for platform engineers, SREs, AI engineers, security folks, and anyone who wants to stay current without donating their morning to the scroll.

• One briefing a day, stories ranked by importance — start at the top, stop when you're done.
• A real finish line: "you're caught up," plus a running count of the time you saved.
• Importance scores from 1–10 with a draggable threshold — only see what clears your bar.
• Real sources, always linked — every summary cites the articles behind it.
• Covers the whole stack: AI, security, platform, data, backend, frontend, mobile, and the industry news around it.
• Missed a day? Flip back through the last 7 days and catch up.
• Push notification when the briefing drops — and when something genuinely big breaks.
• Today's full article stream is there too, for the days you feel like digging.
• Light/dark mode that follows your system.
• Privacy-first: your account is just an email. Analytics are optional and anonymous — no email, no name, no article titles in the data — and auto-delete after 90 days. Export or delete everything any time.
