CHESS OPENING TRAPS THAT WIN GAMES
Scholar's Mate, the Fried Liver Attack, Legal's Mate, the Stafford Gambit, the Englund Gambit, the Evans Gambit, the Budapest Gambit: learn to set these traps and, above all, to stop falling for them. Each trap is played move by move, with the mistake that triggers it and the defense that avoids it.
31 CHESS OPENINGS, FROM BEGINNER TO ADVANCED
Start with the Italian Game, the London System, the Scandinavian Defense, the Colle System and the Philidor Defense. Then the Ruy Lopez, the Caro-Kann Defense, the Queen's Gambit, the Vienna Game, the Petrov Defense and the Grand Prix Attack. Further on: the French Defense, the Scotch Game, the Alapin Sicilian, the Slav Defense and the Trompowsky. Then the Najdorf Sicilian, the King's Indian Defense and the Yugoslav Attack. At the top: the Nimzo-Indian, the Catalan, the Dragon Sicilian, the English Opening and the Grünfeld Defense.
A VOICE COACH THAT EXPLAINS YOUR MISTAKES
Play a wrong move and the coach tells you why it fails and what your opponent does next, then shows it on the board. You learn the reasons behind the moves, not just the moves.
WHAT YOU LEARN FOR EACH OPENING
• The main line, move by move.
• The plan once the opening is over: where your pieces belong and what to aim for. Knowing ten moves is useless if you are lost on move eleven.
• Your opponent's other replies and how to answer them.
• Training against the computer.
CHESS OPENINGS FOR BEGINNERS AND CLUB PLAYERS
Choose beginner, intermediate or advanced. On advanced, if you go wrong, the computer punishes you and you have to find your way out. A catalog lets you filter the openings by color, by style (aggressive, balanced or solid) and by level, and you can study several openings at once.
IN 13 LANGUAGES
The interface, the coach's voice and all 31 openings are available in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Turkish, Japanese, Korean and Traditional Chinese.
FREE TO START, PREMIUM FOR THE REST
The main line of all 31 openings is free: learn it move by move with the voice coach. Gambitia Premium unlocks everything else: the plan after the opening, your opponent's other replies, training against the computer and the traps. Choose the annual plan, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, or the monthly plan. Cancel anytime in Google Play.

New "My games" tab: enter your Chess.com or Lichess username and the app reads your latest games, recognizes the opening (whatever the move order) and shows the exact move where you left the lesson, explained by the coach. Reminders after your games. "Continue for free" now takes you straight to the first lesson. Stability fixes.
