Description by Zaparo(from Google Play)
Garrison is an online medieval strategy game: build an empire from one town, and it keeps playing while your phone is in your pocket. You raise one army, keep your castle walls up, and share a small corner of the map with a handful of rival players. Raids travel in real time and land whether you're watching or not, so every choice you make before you close the app matters.
ONE ARMY FOR ATTACK AND DEFENSE The soldiers you send out to raid are the same ones guarding home. March them out and your town stands open behind them. Keep them home and you're safe, but poor, because the loot is out on the map.
THE STANDING ORDER Before a raid lands, you decide how hard your garrison fights. Stand firm and you spend soldiers to protect your buildings and stores. Pull back and your soldiers walk away unharmed while the raiders help themselves. When a raid is on its way, the notification tells you when it lands, and you can change your standing order right from it with one tap.
A TWO-WEEK MATCH IN YOUR CELL You land on the rim of a cell alongside the players who joined around the same time. Ruins sit on the rim, caches on the middle ring, and at the center a lord guards his hoard. Partway through the match a storm starts closing in on the hoard, and every night the lord's columns march on each town left outside it. Hold behind your walls, or go break the hoard.
THE RELIC Whoever breaks the hoard carries the relic home. It raises your town's yield, and any raid that wins against you can carry it off. Whoever holds it when the match ends becomes lord of the cell, and that title stays on your record.
SEND THE FALCON FIRST The map is covered in fog. A falcon flies out, sees what a place holds and how well it's defended, and always comes home with its report. Read it, pick your target, then send the raid.
RUINS AND RIVAL LORDS Ruins on the rim, caches on the middle ring, and the towns of fallen empires are all there to be raided, and they fight back. Each lord has a temper: one stands and fights, another runs. A raid never wipes a town off the map. It takes stores and wrecks buildings, and how much it costs you depends on the standing order you set.
CAMPS Pitch a camp of soldiers closer to the caches and the hoard to shorten the road. A camp has no buildings of its own, and it falls if its garrison is beaten.
WHAT'S INSIDE - One town with a build queue, research, and Ages to advance through - Villagers who gather food, wood, and gold - Spearmen, archers, knights, light cavalry, wagons, and battering rams - A cell leaderboard, a chronicle of your cell's news, and a world leaderboard ranked by empire score - Notifications for incoming raids, plus a home screen widget that counts down to the next one - A morning recap of what happened overnight - Play as a guest, or sign in with a Zaparo ID to keep your empire on a new phone - English and Turkish
ADS Garrison contains ads. Nothing in the game is for sale.
Recent changes: • Your falcon flies ten times faster, so its reports come in sooner. • The game still has one ad: a banner at the end of the Log. It now comes from Google AdMob or ZaparoAds, our own ad network. • Where the law requires it, the game asks before showing personalized ads, and you can change your answer anytime in Settings > Ad privacy choices. • Settings is simpler, with one row to delete your data from this game: Delete my data from this app.
