★★★★★ Gas Buddy needs to change the fuel types from regular and mid-grade to reflect alcohol content such as E0 and E10. It is important to cost per mile calculations. To be truly effective, Gas Buddy could even offer cost per mile estimates on the fuel selected based on the customer's MPG statistics. I recommend using a format such as E10/87 or E15/88 or E0/91 to reflect the alcohol content and octane rating. Both are important information to an educated consumer.

★★★★★ This app is a lot better now. However, a "report" feature would be nice for when you see users that constantly report incorrect prices to attract traffic to their gas stations. False price reporting has been occurring for years, and it's so much worse now. I'll pass up stations that seem too cheap vs competitors. Not always good, because I've found one that really was way cheaper (after the fact). *RE: another review - membership IS still FREE...

★★★★★ Great app but bad users. It seems that many users report prices that are not accurate. The app should only allow users to enter prices if they are located at the station they are reporting for. In addition to regular, mid-grade, premium and diesel, it's not unusual to see "super" and sometimes even other grades of fuel. It would be great if there were more fuel choices to report as I regularly hunt for stations that have "super" (94 octane) fuel.

★★☆☆☆ Edit: Your excessive greed just lost me as a customer. I just downloaded the upside app, and it blows yours away Why did you delete our favorites list???? It used to be on the main screen, and now it's gone! Garbage app with tons of incorrect prices. Gas Buddy used to be great. Then they incentivized people to put in incorrect prices for personal gain and ruined the system. Don't waste your time. They need to fire the moron who ruined this app. Very disappointed!!

★★☆☆☆ I have been having difficulties bringing Gas Buddy up to work. Keeps saying clearing trunk space & won't come up.

★★☆☆☆ July 2025 update - Please put the "My Favorites" (❤️ icon) stations button back on the front page of the app. That was a convenient place for it to compare against "Stations Near Me" - Find Gas button. I currently / logically can't find the Favorites option. 😔

★★☆☆☆ You're still only show the price for gas when paying with a card. Your still .10 cents off per gallon. 😒
