GBAGo Emulator: Visual Saves

GBAGo is a retro handheld emulator built around your saves. Every game gets a Recovery Map, one screen that gathers all of its checkpoints: the automatic resume point, your save state slots, automatic snapshots and the battery save, each with a clear status such as Ready to load or Not safe to load.

Safe Continue resumes from your newest checkpoint only when it checks out. If that checkpoint is damaged, GBAGo asks before using the most recent verified one instead.

Try it the moment you open the app. A new library starts with three original demo cartridges made by Lumi Studio. They contain no third-party content, so you can explore save slots, automatic snapshots, Recovery Map and Game Info right away, and delete them whenever you like. GBAGo does not include any other games: you bring your own files.

What makes this emulator different
Recovery Map: every checkpoint for a game in one place, with a Verify Progress check.
Visual save states: 4 slots to start, expandable to 12, each with its own screenshot thumbnail.
Auto Snapshots: a snapshot is saved each time you leave a game or switch apps, and the latest 15 stay available as thumbnails you can jump back to.
Auto save when leaving: close GBAGo and continue where you stopped. It is on by default.
Game Info: tap the three-dot menu on a game's row to check its identity and integrity on your device, including internal title, game and maker codes, revision, file size, SHA-256, header checksum, save hardware and real-time clock, then export a JSON report.

Everyday emulator essentials
Fast-forward at 2x, 4x or 8x, or all the way to 32x, with music and sound effects speeding up in step with the game.
Pinch to zoom the game screen from 100% to 150% with two fingers; GBAGo remembers your choice.
Touch controls with adjustable button size and opacity, Turbo A and Turbo B, plus game controller support.
Cheat codes, screen filters (Crisp Pixels, Smooth and CRT) and aspect ratio options.
Backup export and import for your library, with game files optional.
Play Stats: total play time, the last 30 days, your most active time of day, streaks and top games.
Library covers captured from your own play, and an interface in 50 languages.

Compatibility
GBAGo opens .gba, .gbc and .gb files that you import, including files inside .zip archives. Importing a BIOS file is optional.

Privacy
GBAGo runs fully on your device: no accounts, no ads, no tracking and no data collection. You can back up your library to a single file and restore it anytime, and the developer never receives this data. Local data remains until you delete it in GBAGo or remove the app. Export and Share send only the files you select to the destinations you choose.

Legal
Apart from the three original Lumi Studio demo cartridges, GBAGo contains no games and does not supply or link to game files. Import only files you created yourself or are authorized to use under applicable law. GBAGo is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo Co., Ltd. Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance are trademarks of Nintendo, used here only to describe file compatibility. Emulation is powered by the open-source mGBA core, licensed under MPL-2.0.
