Definitely a pay to play type game only way 2 rank up is getting tokens that are not easy 2 get unless u buy them & if u rank up a gear but later on fuse them into another gear u don't really get xp or any of the tokens back. As well as if you have high lvled gear don't fuse anything into expect lvl 1 gears cause any xp that is left once the gear is max lvl is lost. The other thing that is a little annoy is that the battle pass/reward section only goes to lvl 24, but you keep getting tokens for it

Updated review: The game is sooo much worse after the update. Unless you enjoy being frustrated playing the same level over and over never getting anywhere, or having to spend money to progress, I don't recommend this game. I'm uninstalling. Good game at first, but it gets almost impossible to pass levels and level up gears to the point of frustration. It's ok until midway through Chapter 7, but I'm not spending money to play a game, and it seems to be the only way to keep going.
