Description

Tutto è iniziato nel 1991 quando Gianni ha intrapreso la professione di gelatiere in provincia di Modena. Il mestiere era nuovo per lui ma, studiando le ricette, facendo tante prove, dedicando tanto tempo all’attività, è riuscito ad ottenere un prodotto buono, cremoso e delicato.

Anno dopo anno ha trasmesso la passione per questo mestiere artigianale anche al fratello Sandro ed a sua moglie Giovanna: nel 1995, a marzo, iniziano l’attività a Firenze come Gelatando.
La scommessa era grossa: una gelateria che parte da zero in una città dove ci sono delle gelaterie storiche… una bella sfida!

Piano, piano il lavoro parte; la qualità di Gelatando entra nel “cuore” dei clienti: il sacrificio, la dedizione, la ricerca continua per migliorare il prodotto, le tante ore passate in negozio sono ripagati dall’aumento costante delle vendite.
L’organico comincia ad essere troppo preciso per il lavoro che letteralmente fa decollare Gelatando: da qui la decisione di far entrare nella squadra anche Gianni (direttamente da Modena) e sua moglie Simona.
Per il lavoro di quattro persone però il locale di Firenze comincia ad essere stretto e per questo, nel 2002, iniziamo a progettare l’idea di aprire un nuovo punto vendita.
