I love how easy Gemstone lights are to program as well as the pre-made programs. I appreciate knowing if anyone light does go out, it is an easy plug and play to fix it. Awesome

9/30/23: 1) App should be able to create zones & assign patterns to those Zones, just like the Custom Architectural Zones. 2) NEEDS a way to see currently ACTIVE pattern. Zone Creations needs a 3D Visual layout of the LED tracks on the home. 3) A SEARCH FUNCTION. 12/31/22: Just what I needed for track lights 😁🤩 I get many compliments for my lights! A PDF file explaining all the patterns & how to create custom patterns is needed. Wish it used a web interface or a physical hub device, as well.

I keep loosing my GM Controller icon in my app. More than once I have had to turn off my controller and reset it multiple times. Then go on the app and try and reconnect it. This process as I have stated sometimes takes me many times to do. Very disappointing for the money.

Disconnects, often, so you have to constantly remember your password and log in hit's. The only app on my phone that won't remember my biocredentials, and then you do log in, and it won't connect to Bluetooth. It'll show it, but it just says can't connect with no explanation. And then I'll randomly work. Sometimes most often I have to reinstall the app. So no I have really expensive lights that I tend not to use at all. Also, the app itself is confusingly laid out.

Just had my lights installed today. The hardware is great, the software is terrible. There is no way to know what routine is running. If you open a folder to check, the lights automatically turn off. I haven't been able to figure out a way to set a timer to run pattern on only a select few lights, and from other comments here, it doesn't seem to be possible. Please, invest some resources in upgrading the app.
