For anyone who was confused like me: start with your finger in between both ovals then move the pokeball around one oval (according to the hand you're using) then under both of them before releasing. I figured this out and have been landing every curveball since. The app hels, don't give it one star just because you can't figure it out.

Its the best app I can find but it doesn't explain anything about the usefulness of the prompts on the screen so I can't understand what any of the prompts are suppose to mean.

Pointless Yes the app works with showing you dotted lines but its nothing helpful unless you either need glasses or have truly terrible aim. It does nothing to help you save balls, get nice throws, great, excellent or curve throws. There's nothing wrong with the app...it's just pointless because it doesn't assist or help in any way. It's the same as not using it. I'll try it a few more times then update review but at this point it doesn't improve your skill or throws in any way & is just a waste of phone storage.
