This app helped me to figure out a family mystery... My sister was born with a rare muscle disease and died young. We were never able to determine what type of disease it was, we generalized it as Congenital Muscular dystrophy. When I put my DNA file and my mom's into Genomapp, we came up as carriers for congenital hypomylenating neuropathy, which looked EXACTLY like what she had. We likely would have never known what it was she had. Thank you to Genomapp for helping us figure this out!!!!👍

There is some great information they provide about your DNA that can help you learn about yourself. However, some of the explanations could be written a lot better, especially when you go to the specific gene.

Having uploaded files for myself, husband, daughter and my father I can say the information is consistent. I've always known I have many health issues, and this app has backed up my belief and I feel alot more comfortable trusting my instinct. In context, I have 24 different things listed under complex diseases alone, some I'd already known about. I KNOW it's scary to read all that, but it's information I really, really needed to know to get the help I need. Thank you.

Incorrect. Uploaded raw data here, and again on Prometheus. Genomapp says I have several autosomal dominate things then Prometheus says nopppeeee that it's a common error with reports from Ancestry to have a positive with certain things but really negative. How is this?? What is Prometheus doing that genomapp isn't?

I had a great experience with Genomapp, but I'm finding that I can no longer access it. My password no longer works and when I report that I've forgotten my password it tells me that my email is not found. Changing my 5 star to 1 star until this issue is resolved

App says I'm negative for MTHFR gene mutations. I am compound heterozygous. I have 2 mutated genes. This isn't a difficult one with hundreds of variants. It's a yes or a no. The app says no. My hematologist says yes.
