Works well There are lots of settings to tinker with if you want. Mine's set up to give a very gentle start to the alarm - perfect for a light sleeper who doesn't want to wake anyone else. Note: as with all apps on my HTC One, the 'back' and 'home' buttons remain lit when the screen is awake at night, so the night clock function isn't really feasible as the buttons are much brighter than the screen. However, you can set the night mode and just turn on the screen when you want to check the time.

The best, bar none This is by far the best alarm app I've ever used. I got it after my physical alarm clock stopped working and now I don't miss it. FEATURE REQUEST: how about a "sick mode" where it disables your normal alarms so you can sleep through the day?

Full screen ad's I understand that the trial version has adverts but I hate the full screen ad's after the pre alarm and the main alarm. With there bright screens you don't need the main alarm.

Well I installed this app based on an old life hacker article, to try out the app before I buy. While I waited for installation I decided to read the most recent user reviews. Unfortunately based on their experiences I absolutely have no intention of trying this app, and even though it's only a few bucks I'm not buying it without making sure it works on my device. I don't mind having some alarms blocked on certain days, I can use my old alarm on those days. I do think it's worth a wait to find a great alarm. What I'm not willing to risk is adds in the morning when I'm grumpy, sleepy, and in some cases late. If you choose to remove the adds during alarms let me know and I will try your app. If it works as life hacker says I absolutely will buy it, blocking me from Wednesdays is enough to make me buy the app, I think it is a smart and reasonable call.
