I love this app and have been using it for years With the Samsung update I found that ALL alarms and timers quit working properly, not just this one, so the problem seems to be with the Samsung update, not Gentle Alarm.

After Samsung update stopped working. Hold finger on app icon until menu shows up. select app info . select optimize battery. turn optimize for battery to off. Alarms should start working again.

This used to be a 5 star review for years. I bought this app, twice actually, because I used to like it so much (bought it on the play store and off of it before it was offered here) and its the only alarm ive used for years. Sadly the latest android P makes it to where it no longer works. today I didnt wake up for work, and after testing this previously trusted alarm it wont ring at all anymore. sadly ill be replacing my favorite alarm. rip.

Has stopped working on Samsung Galaxy S8+ after latest update (OS 8.0) Update: Appears to be working when battery optimization is turned off for this app... We'll see if it goes off correctly or if I'll be late to work again tomorrow...
