The new Genworth Digital Invoice Assistant mobile app works within our broader Claims Management Experience to help streamline the independent care provider invoicing process. The features within this new experience allow for quicker access to invoice information between clients and independent care providers. It helps to minimize back and forth conversations regarding invoices and helps to ensure that claim invoices are submitted in good order. This tool aims to simplify the review of invoices by digitizing the experience, while also reducing common technical issues associated with digital experiences by introducing some offline capabilities.
*KEY FEATURES*
*Schedule Recurring and Individual Shifts *
An independent care provider will add their client to the app and can set up both recurring shifts for each week or individual ad-hoc shifts as needed. These shifts will appear in the app at the start of each week they will occur.
*Automatic Invoice Creation*
The Digital Invoice Assistant mobile app will provide the ability to track all shift details a client needs, like check-in and check-out times, details on the type of care provided, rate information, and more. Daily cards will require all necessary details to be entered before checking out of a shift. At the end of each week, the shift details will be sent to the client for review and confirmation.
*Offline Capability*
The Digital Invoice Assistant mobile app was designed to be used anywhere, by making some of its key features generally available offline. This means that independent care providers should be able to avoid common technical issues caused by poor internet connection. Independent care providers using the app can check in and out of shifts throughout the day without losing those details. Once back within range of a strong internet connection, shift details submitted by the care provider should be captured and synced.
*Push Notifications*
The Digital Invoice Assistant can also provide helpful reminders through its push notifications feature. This feature reminds independent care providers of key shift details and when to check in and out of shifts. Following the app’s guidance, independent care providers can be sure that their information is captured daily, and weekly automatic invoices are created for a client to review.
