Geooh has all the features typical of a geocaching app, but it also has features found only on Geooh. In addition to the one-time purchase price, there is an optional subscription for enhanced features. Go to https://geooh-go.app to learn more about the app than what can be described here.
The optional enhanced subscription includes an Android Auto app and a companion Wear OS app. The Android Auto app shows up to 6 nearby geocaches on the car display. The Wear OS companion app includes a complication, a Wear OS tile to show your daily stats, and a map to show selected geocaches.
A core feature of the app can automatically find nearby geocaches while you are driving around. For this feature to work, you must give Android foreground location permission to allow Geooh to use your location while the app is running, but not active. You can use other Android apps while Geooh searches for nearby geocaches! When a nearby geocache is found the app sends an Android notification for each geocache located. You can then bring Geooh to the foreground to download the geocache so you can go find it. The Android Auto app in Geooh also uses the nearby geocaches feature to show them on the car display. Per the privacy policy, all location information is only used locally.
If you a new geocacher, please use the official app from Groundspeak to learn the game. If you are a more serious and advanced geocacher, Geooh GO is the app for you!

This app outperforms all others in all areas. Where it doesn't, it continues to improve. The support is amazing and very quick. The developer works hard to improve this and if you have patience, you can do so much more with this as you learn it. It's my go to for almost all geocaching (the one exception being I still use "other" app for messaging.) My favorite features being lab caching, log setup, and built in whereto support. Thanks

I've had this app for a couple of years and must say it has been great and has something for everyone. I'm a county cacher and using this feature allows me to know when I cross the county line. That one thing has made it worth it for us. It has an easy to use WhereIGo function as well. I highly recommend.

It's a shame that the Watch app requires a subscription. It was the whole reason why I purchased this app, and now I can't refund it. If you are geocaching with just your phone, I recommend a free alternative such as c:geo, which is just as feature rich.

I got this app for the WhereIgo feature. I have not been able to get that or any other part of the app to work to find any cache, let alone actually get a whereIgo cartridge to download. It's not intuitive to use and can't find a tutorial to see if I'm doing something wrong. C:geo is a much better app to use when out geocaching.

Out takes 3 to 5 presses to get anywhere. Cache description from map, the presses. Compass or other navigation from there, 5 more presses. And the whole time it keeps dinging telling me IDs of nearby catches with no ability to find them or turn off the nag. And it keeps telling me every time someone in the world finds a cache!

Does not load saved whereto caches, I've tried everything. Used two brands of phones and various wherigos but gives the same result. I purchased this app solely to be able to add whereto caches to my geocaching profile as Locus Map Pro does everything else and more but Geoff go doesn't do what it's supposed to.
