GeoVault: Places & Food Notes

Found a biryani place worth driving back for? A viewpoint you want to catch at sunrise? GeoVault is a private notebook for the places you love, and the details you always forget.

Save a place in seconds, write down what made it special, and find it again whenever you need it. Everything stays on your phone. No account, no ads, no tracking.

SAVE PLACES YOUR WAY
• Paste a Google Maps or Apple Maps link: GeoVault picks up the place name and keeps the link for one-tap directions
• Use your current GPS location, or pick the spot on a map
• Organise by category: Dining, Cafe, Stay, Viewpoint, Tourist Attraction, Shopping, Fuel/EV, Restrooms and more

NOTES THAT ACTUALLY HELP
• Restaurants and cafes get Must Order and Avoid notes, so you remember the dish worth coming back for and the one to skip
• Category-specific details such as entry fee, best season, best time to visit, trek time and check-in times
• Tag places as To Visit, Visited or Legendary, or add your own tags

PLAN TRIPS WITH COLLECTIONS
• Group places into trips, cities or lists, such as a Kerala road trip, a breakfast trail or a someday list
• Add trip dates and a description
• Drag to reorder stops, and keep one place in as many collections as you like

FIND ANYTHING INSTANTLY
• Search across names, locations, notes and tags, even the dish you wrote down months ago
• Recent searches and browse by category
• Open any place in your maps app with one tap for directions

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Your places are stored only on your device. We never see your locations and we never sell your history
• Works offline: save, search and browse with no connection
• No sign-up needed to use the app
• Optional Google Drive backup to your own Drive, with automatic daily, weekly or monthly backups
• Export and import your data as a file at any time

Light and dark themes included.

GeoVault is made for travellers, food lovers and anyone who keeps saying "I need to remember this place".
