German 90%

Welcome to "German 90", your ultimate companion for mastering the German language! Our app is designed to make learning German both fun and effective. With a database of over 2000 German words and their English translations, we provide a comprehensive tool for expanding your vocabulary and enhancing your language skills.

How It Works

Users start by playing a game where they see words in English and must choose the correct German translation from five possible options. Alternatively, users might be asked to form the correct German word from a set of given letters within a specified time. This interactive approach not only helps reinforce vocabulary but also enhances recall and recognition skills.

As users successfully answer a series of questions, they unlock new words for further training. This progressive learning method ensures that users are constantly challenged and engaged. The faster users answer questions correctly, the quicker they unlock new words, making the learning experience dynamic and rewarding. All unlocked words can be reviewed in the library section, allowing users to revisit and reinforce their knowledge at any time.

The Science Behind Our Approach

Research in language learning suggests that interactive methods significantly improve vocabulary retention and language acquisition. Studies have shown that repetitive exposure to new words, coupled with active recall practice, leads to more effective long-term memory retention. By incorporating timed challenges and immediate feedback, our app leverages these principles to create an engaging and scientifically grounded learning experience.
