I like the app. I like being able to get cars early in advance, or last minute. The flexibility and instant access to rental cars is nice when you're in an urban area. It's also pretty easy and reliable. I've found great car, good cars and ok cars, but the app has always worked. Unlike other ride-sharing/rental apps I've used that don't seem to ever detect Bluetooth signals...

The get around app is a bit clunky, but support was responsive. Beware, the car will not let you start it as soon as you're a minute over your rental, even if you're stopped at a gas station right next to its parking spot.

Even though the concept is great, the people who rent their vehicles try to charge you with fees that you did not do. They charged me a smoking fee when I did not smoke, and instead of reaching out or doing some sort of investigation, they inactivated my account and told me I needed to pay their fee. I tried to fight that and told Get around I do not smoke, and that could not be the case, and they totally ignored me. So don't rent with them because the owners are just looking for money to charge.

Not a lot of options so I guess I'll have to keep using it. Second time I've gotten a vehicle that had drivability issues. This time around I sent in a video of the problem, and it took from 2am 3am to be told there's nothing that can be done at the moment and if I'd like a vehicle for the remainder of my rental time I can go ahead and pay for it which I can't afford because I already paid what I had left Shoulda just drove the car until the engine blew up and went about my day get around is trash
