Worked for me when the manual setup didn't. Update 08/07/2026: As of now, this app has stopped working for me - the UCL Durham configuration stopped working on an Android 10 device. Update 10/07/2026: It seems that it started working again - not sure if that's the all or an update from Durham side, but re-installing the configuration helped.

Ridiculously optimized app, frequent crashes and disconnects, having to relogin to Durham multiple times over and over again because it doesn't even connect half of the time. Sometimes, I'll spend minutes constantly retyping in my login and pressing reconfigure device because it just shuts off, sometimes even 30 seconds after successfully connecting. I swear I spend more time logging in than I spend on actual assignments!

Why do I need an app to connect to Durham now? I've been using it for more than a decade as a regular Wi-Fi connection without issues. I don't need more apps on my phone and I don't need more complications.

The app crashes and exists itself if I type in my correct credentials. I checked, if I type in nonsense as my login and password the app just accepts that and is happy. If I type in specifically my correct login and password it crashes. And either way the Wi-Fi just keeps saying "Connecting, Authentication Problem, Disconnected".
