Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy is a punishing climbing game, a homage to Jazzuo's 2002 B-Game classic 'Sexy Hiking'. You move the hammer with the mouse, and that's all there is. With practice, you'll be able to jump, swing, climb and fly. Great mysteries and a wonderful reward await the master hikers who reach the top of the mountain.
To quote Jazzuo himself: "The hiking action is very similar to way you would do it in real life, remember that and you will do well".

I loved this game on PC. Beat it with a touchpad on a laptop. Screen real estate or hardware isn't the problem - this port is doing a bad job of dealing with the input. Unfortunate, basically unplayable, but I appreciate the effort and hope for a patch.

It is the personification or gamification I should say of frustration, anger, motivation wrecker, and a mirror of how life mostly is, that I love it and hate it at the same time. The gameplay can be at times stupid, but that's the beauty of it, once you hike to a height you haven't done before, the accomplishment is incredible but then it's suddenly change by a feeling of uncertainty and fear, you don't want to move cause you know what will happen in a few moves. Love the game is su irritating.

I like this game its so good not because of only the levels that are hard and challenging but the vocals of Bennett Fordy who was taking all time making me laugh and frustrated, and it was fun he was playing songs like born to lose which was funny love this game it was so good 👍🏻 😄👍🏻

For me the game is unplayable the controls are very hard to figure out, and I'm getting stuck on everything without understanding what to do to fix it

Excellent game ruined by a horrible port and controls. Unplayable on mobile. I don't understand how they messed this so badly, if they added a mouse-like pointer that you could control via touch then none of these problems would be there. But they made the controls too complicated and impossible to play with.

It's nice, the difficulty and message are good. But it really needs some form of controller support, or at least controls options. The fact that there is no joystick ui, and somehow all controls are relative makes it incredibly difficult to get the hammer to move how you want it to. For a game that's supposed to be about perseverance, it makes it feel like it actually isn't in your control at all, and pretty well ruins it. Unfortunately google makes refunds pretty difficult
