Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy is a punishing climbing game, a homage to Jazzuo's 2002 B-Game classic 'Sexy Hiking'. You move the hammer with the mouse, and that's all there is. With practice, you'll be able to jump, swing, climb and fly. Great mysteries and a wonderful reward await the master hikers who reach the top of the mountain.

To quote Jazzuo himself: "The hiking action is very similar to way you would do it in real life, remember that and you will do well".

• Climb up an enormous mountain with nothing but a hammer and a pot.
• Listen as I make philosophical observations about the problem at hand.
• Between 2 and ∞ hours of agonizing gameplay, depending. The median time to finish for my playtesters was 5 hours, but the mean was closer to ∞.
• Lose all your progress, over and over.
• Feel new types of frustration you didn't know you were capable of.

I loved this game on PC. Beat it with a touchpad on a laptop. Screen real estate or hardware isn't the problem - this port is doing a bad job of dealing with the input. Unfortunate, basically unplayable, but I appreciate the effort and hope for a patch.

Frustrating, but in an interesting way. You get in the games, and you spawn next to a dead tree that is blocking the rest of the game. When or (IF) you get over that tree, the rest of the game is vast and open. But it is only 2d. When you get some good place to quit, you quit! I hope you will enjoy this game as much as I did, And have a good time!

THIS is not a good port. Hundreds of glitches and bugs. The control is so twitchy. This type of game is UNPLAYABLE with glitchy touch controls. Please don't waste money on it. You will just invite frustrations
