Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy is a punishing climbing game, a homage to Jazzuo's 2002 B-Game classic 'Sexy Hiking'. You move the hammer with the mouse, and that's all there is. With practice, you'll be able to jump, swing, climb and fly. Great mysteries and a wonderful reward await the master hikers who reach the top of the mountain.
To quote Jazzuo himself: "The hiking action is very similar to way you would do it in real life, remember that and you will do well".

Great game. I think this game needs a mouse or some sort of analog to scale the roof. Keep sliding off. It's like I need to hop, full swing and quickly plant the hammer gracefully on ledge of roof. that's the plan anyway. But I get the jitters when im at the roof and end up pushing myself to rick bottom again. Good fun though.

This game is passionately one of the most difficult games to start off with. It's painful, depressing, rage-baiting, and like Multiplier said. It turns people into werewolves. You need patience, control and a healthy mind set not to throw your phone through a wall. And graphics are mid but that's on my phone, but it's not too bad. I do think pc would be a lot better. But if you want a game to challenge yourself in ways you didn't even know this is your game now get into it or get over it. ❤️

Now the concept of the game isn't the issue here. It's the fact an already hard game that I must pay for has constant bugs and sometimes the hammer is more slippery sometimes I have to go super far off the screen just to control a full circle and sometimes it doesn't save my progress even when I click the Exit button in the game. No game should be unplayable with poor port control especially if I must pay for it. I had high hopes for this game bc I like the climbing mountain kind of vibe here.

Excellent game ruined by a horrible port and controls. Unplayable on mobile. I don't understand how they messed this so badly, if they added a mouse-like pointer that you could control via touch then none of these problems would be there. But they made the controls too complicated and impossible to play with.
