Excellent app. Very easy to use and works perfectly to transfer files to my Forerunner. Makes it so easy to load courses on my watch. Highly recommended.

I use a Garmin Oregon for cycle tours of thousands of miles, and day rides of up to 200 miles. Sometimes I find on short notice that I need to acquire and load the GPX track of a detour or a shortcut, from RideWithGps or from a bike club website. Previously I have done that with a little OTG cable that connects the Garmin as an external storage device to the smartphone. But Importer/Exporter is better because it is safe to use in the rain, and does not require carrying the OTG cable.

Not working without Wi-Fi. Needs to have at least Wi-Fi access, otherwise download fails. Might be a limitation of Garmin Connect which have to be running in background. My use case: Offload tracking. Planning using offline maps, navigation using Forerunner 945.

I cannot connect the importer app on my garmin to my phone !!!! (The Bluetooth connection between my garmin 530 and my phones (Huawei P20 and Samsung S4) works fine, I can use Garmin Connect no problem), but if I open the importer app I have the following msg : "Waiting for Bluetooth" Same problem with the widget

Worked great for a while but has since stopped working. I updated to 7.1.1 and still no luck. The android app will trigger the request on the 1030plus but the Garmin will then say connection failed after requesting port. Fingers crossed this is a short term hiccup!
