It's quite clear that a lot of folks don't understand what dashcam Wi-Fi is all about, or never bothered to read the manual. The lady who thinks she has to connect every time she gets in the car, and the other who wants to connect from inside her house are perfect examples. You only need to connect when you want to view or save a recorded video to your phone that already exists on the dashcam's SD card! It's a better & more convenient way to view than pushing buttons directly on the device.

So disappointed in this app. I like the camera (until they changed the screen size smaller). But the app is zoomed to the edge of the phone, so you can't choose any options at the bottom. So what does that mean, you can't download the videos at all, I had to screen record to get it. Also, I bought 2 cameras, and I can't add my second. I have to delete the one and add the other. If I need to access either one, go through the process again. It's absolutely absurd. Don't buy until they fix the app

When you connect your phone to the DashCam's Wi-Fi to download videos, the dash cam shuts off to enter into Wi-Fi mode. This means after around 30-60 seconds the dashcam will completely shut down (and disconnect from your phone). I figured out a work-around that worked for me. While my phone was downloading the videos, every 15-20 seconds I pressed the OK button on my dashcam. This seemed to work in telling the dashcam "I am still working here" and it reset the dashcam's auto-turnoff feature.
