I was able to convert a JPEG image to HEIF on my Mi 6 (running android 13) using this app, which I couldn't do with any other. I only needed to use a 30x magnification magnifying glass! The bottom part of the application window is cut off and does not appear on the screen. Only half of the icons located at the bottom edge of the window appear. Useful in case of extreme need. Let's hope for a smartphone-friendly version.

I was hesitant to buy this at first with all the many many many (you get it) bad reviews, but I decided "Meh I love wasting my money" so I bought it and at first it didn't even run. I want surprised but tried it again quite a few more times and was pleasantly surprised by... It is actually running for once. I love to gimp, so I had to try this and actually the controls are not that bad. Despite a literal copy and paste, they did add some zooming and panning features which make this app actually alright.

I used this logiciel for years on laptops and desktops, under linux. So now I found it I'm using it again on my Android phone. I have a question about graphic usb tablets attached by my otg. The one I have is normally accepted by linux, and the Gimp. Is the Android Gimp the same as far as hardware recognition goes? Thanks if anyone k.ows. If I find the answer lurking in the www somewhere I will change my post, however.

Shame on me for not reading the reviews first. Shame on GIMP for just smashing their brilliant computer program right into a mobile phone app. It's completely unusable. Avoid at all costs!

Unusable. The options are so small on the tablet touch screen that I can't even get it to open a file. This isn't a mobile version. This is just the standard computer version minus the mouse and keyboard. Clearly no one tested using this before it was released. It was just 1.99 but, it's 2 bucks they didn't deserve.
