Hello! Person who complained about Git sync not running in the background here. After some tinkering around it does sync in the background now, I think it was because the branch was "Master" instead of "Head", so it didn't push for some reason. It would be great if the UI could be a bit more explanatory and intuitive. What happens if the current branch Head and not Master (sorry, kinda a Git noob here)? Loving the app. It's a huge lifesaver, and I appreciate the one-time purchase option.

I like it it only sometimes is a bit cumbersome in terms of syncing my obsidian vault (I deactivated the git plugin ofc)
★★★★★Vinícius Barbosa· Jan 6, 2026
Awesome. I started to use Obsidian right now, both in Android and Windows versions, and I was able to sync all my .md files using Git Sync, so now I can seamlessly integrate all my notes in my laptop and smartphone at the same GitHub repository.

The GitHub app requires all the permission in the world to connect. Why? There are ways to select only select repos and ask for necessary permissions only. Currently, it asks for all repo, keys, teams, write access to profile data?
★★☆☆☆Justin Mathew· Sep 1, 2025
I am getting an error when I try to clone a repo. The error is : error reading from the zlib stream; class=Zlib (5)
★☆☆☆☆Eric Ridgeway· Aug 10, 2025
Wants permission to access ALL files on personal device, not just authorized git folders. Huge security risk
★☆☆☆☆Austin Bryan· Oct 6, 2025
Trash. Can't create repos, so I use termux instead which just auto does everything else. Plus it reminds me there's no repo like once a minute. Trash.
