Fun enough game, but the fact that you can lose days worth of progress on a gladiator in an instant due to a random event sucks. Very grindy to get anywhere with you gladiators and no matter how much my gladiators level there seems to always be a stronger one in the arena.

Ome of a kind apparently you'd think there is more games like this but no this is the only game, so it is the best in saying that I'm not downplaying it in any way it is the best game for text based history gladiator battle it actually has a diverse play through with many upgrades' no of it is pay to win, and it's quit easy but at the same time as in this is my 3rd play through because my 1st was easy but my 2nd was trash, so I deleted the game to hopefully have more luck on the 3rd try 1st time was

I like the concept, but I tired of repeatedly starting over as minor events would kill one of my gladiators. And gladiators are dying for no reason. And having to rehire all your slaves and rebuild your facilities on a regular basis. It's a great concept of a game, but it LOVES to target you with nonstop misfortune. Uninstalled after my ludus was completely emptied for the third time. Edit: I have reinstalled.

Well you could give at least a few wins for new players. I got to week 20 and just losing so far. Lost all the money, 1 gladiator escaped, and a random lion appeared in a fight I could finally win. That was the last bit. Uninstalling.

I just came back to this game, and it's highly disappointing that my first and only character to die during sparring was my created character. I was trying to hold off suspicion that the game is rigged but the way it repeatedly injured him to keep him out of action and then killed him is too much of a unique coincidence. It's already bad you have to wait 50 weeks, but then can't use him in the kid tournies cause every enemy is ridiculously stacked. To then hyper target him for injuries is just...
