Ome of a kind apparently you'd think there is more games like this but no this is the only game, so it is the best in saying that I'm not downplaying it in any way it is the best game for text based history gladiator battle it actually has a diverse play through with many upgrades' no of it is pay to win, and it's quit easy but at the same time as in this is my 3rd play through because my 1st was easy but my 2nd was trash, so I deleted the game to hopefully have more luck on the 3rd try 1st time was

GOAAAAAATTTTEEEED GAAAAAAAAMMEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But could you please add an equite/cavalry profession? (or class, I can't remember what they are called) or some storylines for animal gladiators? Or maybe like armor for animal gladiators, maybe tooth/claw caps that give more damage and a little more armor, maybe legendary beasts added through intense tournaments, animal-only tournaments? Some kinda extra love for equites or animals is the point. LOVE THE GAMEKEEPER!!!!!!!!!!

It's very fun and thankfully doesn't ask you to spend money to make real progress. The amount of random events is what kills it for me though. Every time I make any progress a random event occurs that sets me back, whether it be financially or by getting a gladiator or two of mine killed. Every time I play for a few minutes I leave more annoyed than anything seeing any progress I made that session basically reset by random events.

I just came back to this game, and it's highly disappointing that my first and only character to die during sparring was my created character. I was trying to hold off suspicion that the game is rigged but the way it repeatedly injured him to keep him out of action and then killed him is too much of a unique coincidence. It's already bad you have to wait 50 weeks, but then can't use him in the kid tournies cause every enemy is ridiculously stacked. To then hyper target him for injuries is just...

Not a single bit of information on how to play this game. I can't figure out how to register for a fight or how to start it. I've selected a gladiator and poisoned one of the opponents but will not let me start or attend the fight.

I like the concept, but I tired of repeatedly starting over as minor events would kill one of my gladiators. And gladiators are dying for no reason. And having to rehire all your slaves and rebuild your facilities on a regular basis. It's a great concept of a game, but it LOVES to target you with nonstop misfortune. Uninstalled after my ludus was completely emptied for the third time. Edit: I have reinstalled.
